The Sierra de Cazorla region belongs to Jaén (first world producer of olive oil) and offers visitors the best scenario for the practice of “Oleotourism”, through a varied offer related to the olive grove and oil: museums, mills, specialized restaurants, rural accommodation, farmhouses, festivals, tastings and oil tastings, etc..
Oleotourism is a new model of sustainable tourism that was born with the aim of transmitting the excellence of EVOO and making known the culture of the olive tree, present in the Mediterranean basin since the arrival of the Phoenicians, more than 3,000 years ago.
Aceites Cazorla as a visitable oil mill belonging to the program Oleotour Jaén, is the best option to start a trip to the essence of the olive culture, where you can learn directly the cultivation and the process of production of EVOO in the INTERPRETATION CENTER “OLEOTOUR CAZORLA”.

We offer you the possibility of being introduced to the culture of the olive tree, very extended in the region of cazorla, to know its history since the time of the Phoenicians, and of course, to see each and every one of the stages of the process of elaboration of the EVOO.
The guided tour at Aceites Cazorla Cooperative will begin at the Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin Sierra de Cazorla, where one of our specialists will tell you about the role it plays in the quality of olive oil and the strict parameters that our AOVEs must pass to be qualified and certified with DO Sierra de Cazorla.
Next, visitors can enjoy the spectacular views of our beautiful surroundings. A sea of olive trees that merge with the rugged mountainous terrain of the Sierra de Cazorla.
We will continue touring our facilities to learn about the EVOO production process. We will visit the olive reception yard, the mill, the mixer, the decanter and the place where our precious liquid gold rests, the cellar.
To finish with a good taste, the Oleotour Cazorla will end with a brief audiovisual fragment, an EVOO Tasting and a Tasting of our olive oils, Royal, Picual and Gran Selección varieties.
